Heavier switchboard feeders around 800A call for a CT that mounts directly through the busbar rather than clamping around it. The Secure MCT 104-80(45) Ring-Type CT is built as a toroidal core for exactly that through-busbar installation, encapsulated in fire-retardant resin for long-term durability in industrial switchboards.
